The Air Group's ISR product line offers full Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance solutions. This includes reconnaissance pods and individual EO/Long Wave IR sensor solutions for fast jet, special mission, rotary wing aircraft types suitable for all operational needs.

We offer solutions providing imagery exploitation capabilities and can offer Information Management/Imagery Exploitation systems for single user through to larger intelligence centres.

  • SWEEPIR Sensors

    Thales SWEEPIR Sensors range use a CCD array to scan its field of view at a typically rate of 1800 (SWEEPIR 40 & 10) or 1200 (SWEEPIR 20) lines per second, which combined with the forward motion of the aircraft builds up a picture on a line-by-line or ‘push-broom’ principle. The Field of View of the lens fitted to the sensor determines the ground coverage and resolution of the image recorded.

    Thales Networked Image Exploitation System supports the analysis of primary imagery from a range of platforms including the Digital Joint Reconnaissance Pod. The system uses commercially available ‘high end’ hardware to run a closely integrated suite of software tools that provide the image analyst with a functional and effective working environment.
