Thales Hypervisor, winner of this year’s prestigious Design Observer awards

Thales Hypervisor, the new open environment for security and operation management of complex infrastructure, is among the winners of this year’s prestigious Design Observer awards for its human-machine interface (HMI).

Presented by APCI, the French design promotion agency, the accolade is awarded to the best collaborations between companies and designers. The prize is an acknowledgement of the HMI’s unique ergonomic design, the result of a fruitful collaboration between Thales and multi-disciplinary design agency Attoma.

The challenge… or when design steps into action

The brief was to ensure that the system was:
intelligent – allowing the automation of procedures and providing the user with operational responses;
flexible – facilitating the integration of existing systems and new functionalities;
a decision-making tool – for dealing with different situations, taking into account the user’s working procedures.

Thales Hypervisor is an integrated solution that achieves all these goals.
