A new Man Machine Interface

Watcher is the universal Man machine Interface of Thales Communication’s tactical radios including the HF (Skyf@st), the UHF Flexnet , the VHF ( PR4G and PR4G F@stnet) and at last the Starmille.

The goal of the man machine interface is to ease the use of the radio while increasing the operational features of the latter. Watcher is compact, lightweight, ruggedized and enables a wireless communication (Bluetooth) up to 10 meter. Watcher is a simple remote control providing to the operators access to all functions of the radio.

It offers two kinds of access:

      - One for the soldier who access to a minimum command and control functions ;

      - And a second level to the radio operator who access to all the parameters Placed on the arm of the soldier, it avoids during a difficult mission to stop for having access to the radio and enables any kind of communication on the move.
