TH 794 & TH 795:
Compact & powerful, selected by leading light-sources facilities

Thales has developed innovative new inductive tubes (IOT), the TH 794 & TH 795 featuring advanced technologies that reflect the company’s vast experience in both klystrons and UHF grid tubes.
Joining the Thales's IOTs family, already largely used in scientific applications, they deliver an output power of typically 85  kW  in CW operation.

The TH 794 & TH 795 and itheir associated cavities (TH 18794 & TH 18795) are ideally suited for RF amplification in particle accelerators operating in continuous wave.  These Thales IOTs  have been chosen by Diamond Light Source, ALBA and Elettra Light Sources as well as the Australian National Synchrotron in Melbourne.
