Anne - Supply Chain

It's always been quite obvious to me: career progress means mobility. But since family commitments stopped me moving geographically, my only chance of developing was to change jobs and seize opportunities as they arose.

I was first application engineer with a component manufacturer, and then I moved to Marketing & Sales. In 1990, I joined the Group as Purchasing manager just as that function was being re-organised: new competencies, new approaches, and new missions. It was an exciting adventure.

Five years later, I took over responsibility for an avionics programme, and then a support service, in daily contact with customers: more new challenges and jobs to learn!

Last year, I took on the Purchasing France responsibility for ATM. So I'm back in Purchasing, but not at square one. The environment has changed since I started, and I'm still keen to broaden my experience and skills.
