THALES+
The Belgian Ministry of Defence has selected Thales to modernise its Hercules C-130 transports. As prime contractor, Thales is supplying the self protection suite. This advanced, entirely user-configurable system also features a new onboard function enabling the crew to train for electronic warfare missions. It is a key element of the survivability of a modern aircraft in high-risk theatres of operations and fully meets the requirements of armed forces.

Modernising transport aircraft
Thales's offering encompasses new transports as well as the modernisation of existing platforms, providing comprehensive and flexible solutions able to support dedicated functions for both transport and mission aircraft.
Thales also assumes responsibility for all activities related to certification of avionic suites.
