Farnborough International 2008

14  July  2008  - 20  July  2008
Farnborough, UK
Thales will once again be demonstrating its commercial and defence aerospace expertise at the Farnborough International Air Show, to be held 14-20 July 2008, with public days on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th.

Firmly established as one of the largest aerospace exhibitions in the world, Farnborough International is organised by UK's aerospace trade association, the Society of British Aerospace Companies (SBAC), and is held every two years. This year's event will attract around 1,500 exhibitors from more than 30 countries. In 2006, over $40bn worth of orders were announced and in total the event attracted 140,000 trade visitors and 130,000 members of the general public.

At this year's show the Thales stand will be located inside a four-storey, stand-alone glass structure and will enjoy a prime, central location. The structure is an excellent opportunity to deliver a greater presence at the show than ever before, and combine exhibition and hospitality space in one location.  Thales has plans to showcase the group's civil and military capabilities on the ground floor with complementary displays externally. The mezzanine floor will feature business meeting rooms, while the third floor will be entirely dedicated to dining. The top floor will feature a roof terrace and bar offering spectacular views of all the action on show.

Come back soon for more information on the specific capabilities that will be on display on the Thales stand and a link to the special dedicated site where you can keep up-to-date with Thales news, events and announcements at Farnborough 2008.
