Thales Alenia Space ETCA space product range covers on-board electronics as well as ground equipment. The company is a European leader in power conditioning and distribution for satellite platforms and cover the whole satellite range, from the micro-satellites for earth observation up to the large geo-stationary satellites for telecom applications, with power needs up to 20 KW.

For satellite payload, Thales Alenia Space ETCA has developed a range of amplifiers for traveling wave tubes -TWTA- whose in-obit references exceeds 10 million hours of operation.

For the launcher business, Thales Alenia Space ETCA delivers power and control units for Ariane 5 -21 boxes per launcher- and has developed a family of check-out equipment for ground services. Thales Alenia Space ETCA engineering and maintenance team operates permanently at the European Space Center in Kourou (Guyana). Thales Alenia Space ETCA also delivers the safeguard subsystem of the Soyuz launcher (French Guyana).
