By Space System Loral (SS / L) for the Hispasat 1E satellite, has been received order to the supply of Ku-Band TTC Communication subsystem.
As well, it was received from the European Space Agency (ESA) for the GMES Program, confirmation of the award for the X-Band communication subsystems for the Sentinel 1, 2 and 3 satellites.

From Space System Loral (SS / L) we recently were awarded with the supply of 20 Ku Band IMUXs (more than 45 channels) to the Hispasat-1E satellite. Now, last week, was received from them an ATP to start up the activities of the design, manufacture, AI&T (Assembly, Integration and Testing) and the supply of the Ku-Band TTC communication subsystem.

At this important award, it's added the communication document received from ESA, by which they announce the award to Thales Alenia Space España of the design engineering, AI&T (Assembly, Integration & Testing) activities and supply of the X-Band Communication subsystems for the three Sentinel satellites, 1, 2 and 3, two of them, the Sentinel 1 and 3 awarded to Thales Alenia Space as prime contractor. This communication also contemplates the award of the same X-band subsystems for future satellites Sentinels to complete the constellation.

We must remember that so far this year, under the ESA's GMES program, it also was awarded to the Sentinel satellites, the following projects:

• Development and supply of the Olci Electronic Unit (OEU), and the Radiometer Electronics Unit (REU) to the third GMES environmental satellite, SENTINEL-3
• Development and supply of the DCU (Deployment Control Unit) to the first GMES environmental SENTINEL-1
