Alexandre de Juniac is a graduate of École Polytechnique and École Nationale d'Administration.

He began his career with several French public authorities before being appointed VP of Planning and Development at Thomson S.A. in 1995. In 1997, he became Sales Director of Sextant Avionique's Commercial Air Transport Avionics business unit. In 1999 he took up the role of group-wide Corporate Secretary. In 2004 he was appointed SVP of the Air Systems Division.

He has held his current position since 2008.
