Jean-Paul Perrier is a graduate of École des Mines and Institut Auguste Comte, and also holds a Doctor's degree in Corporate Management. He initially joined Thomson-CSF's Avionics division, going on to management positions in the Electronic Systems and then the Missile Systems activities. He was appointed EVP International Business of Thomson-CSF (1994), and then Chairman and CEO of Thales International. He was promoted Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for Thales International, in 2002. He was appointed EVP, International Organisation, Chairman Thales International in 2007.
He has held his current position since 2008.
